Job description

Join Chase as a Vice President within the Card Lending Marketing team to lead customer-centric strategies across the lending lifecycle for consumer and small business credit card portfolios. You will shape and execute integrated marketing strategies across key lending products - including balance transfer, credit line management and pricing - while accelerating our evolution toward personalized, trigger-based customer journeys. Sitting within Chase's Marketing Growth & Innovation organization, this leader will deepen customer engagement and grow OS share by optimizing lending performance and delivering scalable, insight-driven marketing strategies.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Own end-to-end portfolio marketing strategy for card lending offers, including balance transfer, credit line management and pricing
  • Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies across owned channels, including email, direct mail, digital (web and in-app experiences) to drive engagement and lending growth
  • Lead the shift toward personalized, trigger-based, orchestrated customer journeys, leveraging propensity, behavioral, transactional, and lifecycle data to meet customers with relevant, timely messaging
  • Define segmentation, targeting, and creative/messaging strategies to optimize customer engagement, utilization, and retention across lending lifecycle
  • Partner cross-functionally across lines of business and centers of excellence (product, analytics, finance, risk, legal, brand, execution and technology) to align on strategy, prioritize initiatives, and deliver campaigns at scale
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in card lending marketing, identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and drive incremental business impact
  • Own marketing performance, measurement, and optimization, including defining KPIs, analyzing results, developing test-and-learn agendas, and optimizing investment allocation
  • Drive customer-centric innovation, including journey mapping, test design, and development of dynamic, modular marketing capabilities
  • Present strategic recommendations, performance insights, and roadmaps to senior leadership, influencing decision-making and long-term strategy
  • Manage and develop a team of 5 marketing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting talent growth

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing strategy, lifecycle marketing, or customer engagement, preferably within financial services
  • Proven experience developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Track record of driving measurable business results through marketing initiatives 
  • Prior people management experience, with the ability to coach and develop talent

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Experience within the financial services industry
