We collect and make good use of a broad range of data and employ human factors engineering principles to identify and resolve usability problems and gain insights that influence product design and development.
What you'll achieve:
As an Experience Strategy Lead - Gaming, you will define and drive end-to-end experience strategy across our gaming portfolio. You'll build a clear, data-informed view of our players and gaming community, connecting player needs, business priorities, and technical realities into direction the whole organization can rally behind. This is a senior, deeply collaborative role where you will partner across product, design, engineering, and marketing to shape what we build, in what order, and why.

Responsibilities
You will:
  • Define and lead experience strategy across the gaming domain, connecting player needs, business priorities, and technical considerations into one clear direction
  • Build and maintain a unified, data-informed view of players and gaming behaviors, translating insight into clear product and business implications that partner teams can act on
  • Partner with product, planning, engineering, design, and marketing to co-create priorities, and bring senior stakeholders to a shared point of view
  • Deliver against complex commitments at a consistently high level of quality, negotiating trade-offs across scope, schedule, cost, and quality to maximize overall player experience value
  • Mentor and coach team members, leading by example and encouraging end-to-end thinking in their daily work

Essential Requirements
  • 12+ years of professional experience; Bachelor's degree with 10+ years; or Master's degree with 8+ years; or PhD with 5+ years; or equivalent experience in UX, experience design, design strategy, product strategy, or research
  • Deep understanding of the gaming landscape - player motivations, competitive dynamics, and the interplay between hardware performance, software experience, and peripheral ecosystems
  • Proven ability to link player and user insight to product and business outcomes, and to build cross-functional partnerships that get to shared decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, including making complex ideas clear and compelling for executive audiences
  • Fluency applying data and emerging tools (including AI) to inform and accelerate decisions

Desirable Requirements
  • A portfolio or case studies showing strategy work that changed product direction within gaming or entertainment
  • Familiarity with gaming community dynamics, esports, or content creator ecosystems

Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $171,000 to $235,400
