Job Summary:
OnPoint Community Credit Union is the largest community owned credit union in Oregon, dedicated to investing in employees and the community. The Payments Strategy Manager will drive acquisition, engagement, performance, and revenue optimization across payment portfolios, owning the end-to-end product strategy and ensuring alignment with financial and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develop and execute acquisition strategies across debit, credit, and emerging payment solutions.
โ€ข Lead go-to-market planning for new products and enhancements.
โ€ข Optimize digital application, issuance, and wallet provisioning flows.
โ€ข Drive transaction and interchange revenue growth.
โ€ข Partner with finance and risk to inform credit strategies.
โ€ข Improve authorization rates and network performance.
โ€ข Own roadmap for digital wallets, contactless, and real-time payments.
โ€ข Evaluate new payment technologies and partnerships.
โ€ข Lead cross-functional product development and launches.
โ€ข Develop data-driven business cases for new initiatives.
โ€ข Define success metrics and financial assumptions.
โ€ข Partner with Finance on forecasting and performance tracking.

Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 8+ years of related experience in Card or Payments Product Management, Card or Payments Sales Strategy, or similar field.
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
โ€ข Strong ability to think critically and understand sophisticated customer needs.
โ€ข Thorough knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
โ€ข Deep knowledge of banking products, including debit cards, credit cards, and digital payments as well as pricing dynamics.
โ€ข Experience with product management methodology including new product launches, road mapping, business cases, product enhancements, communication and marketing plans, and robust executive management presentations and reporting development.
โ€ข Capable of applying project management techniques to drive execution teams aligned to strategic plans and objectives.
โ€ข Excellent speaking skills and written communication.
