About the Role

We are seeking an Associate to join the Investment Strategy & Solutions team within Treasury & Investment Management. This is a key opportunity to contribute to the development of investment strategy, tactical asset allocation and fund management within a global, multi-asset environment.

The role offers exposure to asset allocation decisions, investment risk considerations and broader investment management processes, supporting the delivery of long-term, risk-adjusted returns.


About the Team

Treasury & Investment Management is responsible for overseeing investments across the Lloyd's market, including:

  • Management of approximately 14bn of assets
  • Oversight of the Lloyd's Investment Platform
  • Supporting market participants in achieving sustainable, well-managed returns

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse financial market trends to support tactical asset allocation decisions across multi-asset portfolios
  • Support development of strategic asset allocation frameworks
  • Build and maintain asset allocation and risk models
  • Analyse risk exposures and support the design of hedging and derivative strategies
  • Support fund monitoring, rebalancing and investment oversight activities
  • Contribute to strategic projects within the investment team
  • Produce management information and investment reporting
  • Prepare analysis and materials for internal and external stakeholders

Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities
  • Understanding of financial markets and asset classes (public and private markets desirable)
  • Knowledge of macroeconomic trends and multi-asset investment strategies desirable
  • Exposure to insurance markets or financial services beneficial
  • Knowledge of ALM and derivatives is advantageous
  • Advanced Excel and strong MS Office skills; experience with Aladdin beneficial
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly
