Who we need

Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Strategy & Operations, we are hiring a Manager, Strategy & Operations. As our new Manager, Strategy & Operations, you will partner across Sales, Product, Marketing, Enablement, and executive leadership to drive key commercial initiatives, operational improvements, business growth programs, and strategic priorities from concept through execution. Acting as a strategic operator and execution partner, you will help drive initiatives that influence growth, operational efficiency, customer experience, and commercial performance globally while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution across multiple priorities and stakeholders.

This is a remote role based anywhere in Canada, preferably Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver and Atlantic Canada.

What's in it for you

Solve meaningful business challenges. You will work on high-impact initiatives that influence growth strategy, operational efficiency, business growth program execution, workforce optimization, customer experience, and commercial performance across a global business. Partnering closely with senior leaders across the organization, you will help solve complex business challenges and contribute directly to the strategies, initiatives, and operational decisions driving growth and transformation across the business.

Own outcomes in a fast-moving environment. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in change, enjoys navigating ambiguity, and wants the autonomy to drive initiatives forward. You will lead cross-functional programs from idea through execution, bringing structure, momentum, accountability, and follow-through while helping teams move quickly and effectively through transformation and evolving priorities.

Build broad exposure and accelerate your growth. You will gain visibility across multiple functions, business lines, and executive stakeholders while working in a role that touches nearly every aspect of the commercial organization. From go-to-market strategy and product and service offering launches to operational planning and business transformation, you will develop a broad operational and strategic foundation within a global organization that values internal mobility, entrepreneurial thinking, and leadership development.

As our new Manager, Strategy & Operations, you will:

  • Drive strategic initiatives through execution. You will lead and support cross-functional initiatives, commercial programs, operational improvements, and other growth priorities, ensuring projects move from concept to execution with clear accountability, momentum, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner across the business. You will work closely with leaders across Sales, Product, Marketing, Enablement, Operations, and executive leadership to align priorities, navigate dependencies, remove roadblocks, and support business growth and operational performance globally.
  • Create structure and visibility. You will build and maintain operating mechanisms, dashboards, scorecards, project plans, and reporting processes that provide leadership with visibility into progress, risks, priorities, and key business outcomes.
  • Drive accountability and operational excellence. You will help teams stay aligned and focused on execution by clarifying responsibilities, following through on commitments, identifying risks early, and ensuring initiatives remain on track in a fast-moving environment.
  • Support business transformation and change initiatives. You will contribute to operational and organizational transformation initiatives, helping teams navigate evolving priorities, implement new ways of working, and improve how the business operates and scales.
  • Solve complex business problems. You will approach challenges with curiosity, critical thinking, and a solutions-oriented mindset, helping identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and stronger business performance across the organization.
  • Influence without direct authority. You will build trusted relationships across teams and functions, bringing people together around shared goals and driving outcomes through collaboration, communication, and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Operate with adaptability and initiative. You will thrive in an environment where priorities evolve quickly, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution while bringing clarity, structure, and forward momentum to ambiguous situations.

You bring:

  • The operational and strategic experience. You have experience in business operations, growth operations, commercial strategy, program management, product operations, consulting with execution ownership, or a similar function within a software, technology, data, or high-growth environment.
  • The curiosity and commercial acumen. You are interested in how businesses grow, scale, and operate effectively. You enjoy understanding the "why" behind decisions and can connect operational execution to broader commercial and organizational goals.
  • The adaptability. You are not waiting for perfect structure, complete information, or constant direction before taking action. You are comfortable making decisions, asking thoughtful questions, and figuring things out while continuing to move work forward.
  • The communication and problem-solving skills. You are an exceptional communicator who can synthesize information, articulate ideas clearly, and bring clarity to complex situations. You are thoughtful, analytical, and able to assess risks, solve problems, and make sound decisions in dynamic environments.
  • The ability to thrive in change. You are energized by fast-moving, evolving environments and can confidently navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and organizational transformation without losing momentum or focus. You see change as an opportunity to improve, build, and drive impact rather than something to avoid.
  • The mindset of an owner and operator. You take accountability for outcomes, not just tasks. You are proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to move initiatives forward independently while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • The ability to bring structure to complexity. You are comfortable working with broad objectives or loosely defined challenges and can create clarity, prioritize effectively, identify risks, and develop actionable plans that drive initiatives through to completion.
  • Strong cross-functional influence skills. You know how to build relationships, align stakeholders, navigate differing priorities, and drive progress without direct authority. You are confident facilitating conversations, challenging thinking respectfully, and helping teams stay focused on outcomes.
