About the role and team 

Uber Advertising is rewriting the playbook for how brands connect with consumers in the physical world. As a Sr. Client Partner with Uber Advertising, you will work hand in hand with an Uber Eats Delivery Partner Manager to drive value for some of our largest, most strategic Restaurant partners through the adoption of advertising products across Uber and Uber Eats. You'll be responsible for building both net new relationships with media/marketing stakeholders at brands and agencies, and developing the sales strategy across existing partners. You will collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to create value and build a mutually beneficial relationship with our Restaurant partners.

What the Candidate Will Do 

  • Partner with our Delivery Partnerships team to develop and execute ads strategies that deliver on your Enterprise Restaurant partners' needs and exceed quarterly growth goals
  • Build relationships with Director, VP and C-level marketing executives and key marketing decision makers within brands and agencies
  • Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate relationships and difficult partner conversations.
  • Be an indispensable cross-functional partner across Enterprise Partnerships, Product, Marketing and Operations team ensure we are delivering on partner needs.
  • Expand ads product adoption that deliver on partner goals
  • Develop bespoke data-based pitch narratives that scale across our Ads team and drive growth for our Enterprise restaurant partners.
  • Be ready to wear many hats to build our business and jump in to help your teammates when the need arises.
  • Be the voice of the customer to help inform future Ads product roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in advertising sales / account management, preferably in performance advertising
  • Experience managing and influencing relationships with Director-level or C-suite marketing stakeholders at brands and/or agencies.
  • Proven track record building and executing strategic account plans in a multi-stakeholder, matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 7+ years of experience in advertising sales, account management, or consultative sales.
  • Ability to build and execute strategic sales plans that result in success for our partners and Uber
  • Performance media and/or experience working within the Restaurant vertical
  • Creative storyteller with the ability to utilize data to quantify opportunities and influence decision makers
  • Strong leadership ability
  • Excellent listening, communication, and organizational skills
  • Speed, resourcefulness, and a go-getter mentality. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The total on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is USD $223,333 - USD $248,333. The OTE includes a base salary range of USD $134,000 per year - USD $149,000 per year and an annualized cash variable incentive target of USD $89,333 - USD $99,333.


For Dallas, TX-based roles: The total on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is USD $223,333 - USD $248,333. The OTE includes a base salary range of USD $134,000 per year - USD $149,000 per year and an annualized cash variable incentive target of USD $89,333 - USD $99,333.


For New York City, NY-based roles: The total on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is USD $248,333 - USD $276,667. The OTE includes a base salary range of USD $149,000 per year - USD $166,000 per year and an annualized cash variable incentive target of USD $99,333 - USD $110,667.


The cash variable incentive target is based on individual sales performance and its payment is based on the terms of the Sales Incentive Plan.


An equity award and other forms of compensation may be included in the offer. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
