Job description


As a Sr. Program Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for matrix managing several critical program functions and ensuring the successful execution of the of programs and/or other high visibility Space program(s). Your strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in delivering successful outcomes for Honeywell's Aerospace initiatives.
You will report directly to our Senior Director and you'll work out of our Clearwater, Florida location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the organization by ensuring strategic alignment, program efficiency, quality assurance, timely delivery, issue resolution, data analysis, reporting, cost management, cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, risk management, team leadership, mentoring and development, compliance, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and organizational growth.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and oversee program management activities for aerospace projects.
  • Develop and implement program management strategies and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with program management standards and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices

Qualifications
US PERSONS REQUIREMENT
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in program management or related roles.
  • Proficiency in program management tools and EVM.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
