Summary of the Job:

The Associate II, Investments & Planning provides operational, analytical, project management, and risk support to the First Investments & Planning program within Wealth Management. This role serves as a key contributor to program efficiency, risk management, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate brings foundational investment services experience and demonstrates strong organizational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a regulated, deadline-driven environment. This role is designed to flex across multiple domains as program needs evolve.

About This Role:

Reporting & Analytics

  • Partner with Program Manager and Regional Sales Manager on creating and maintaining effective and actionable business unit reporting.
  • Produce and distribute recurring performance and operational reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly cadence).
  • Support dashboard development and ad hoc analysis requests from leadership.
  • Support ongoing reporting needs of the OSJ to facilitate effective Risk Management objectives.

New Associate Onboarding

  • Coordinate logistics for First Investments & Planning employees onboarding to include system access, training schedules and materials.
  • Serve as a point of contact for onboarding questions and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
  • Maintain and update onboarding documentation to reflect current processes and program requirements.
  • Track onboarding completion milestones and flag gaps to the RSM and Program Manager.

Support Program Initiatives

  • Assist in the planning and execution of strategic program initiatives, including scoping, tracking, and status reporting.
  • Follow up with key stakeholders to ensure timely and effective completion.
  • Maintain project trackers and ensure action items are documented and followed up on.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and surface recommendations for process improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support change management initiatives across the business unit.
  • Collaborate on workflow optimization projects and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Identify and escalate cross-functional blockers to the Program Manager with proposed resolution paths.

OSJ Branch Audit & Marketing Review Support

  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of OSJ branch audits.
  • Ensure pre-audit checklists and materials are complete and submitted on schedule.
  • Coordinate review and approval of marketing materials through compliance workflows.

Coordination of Conference Planning & Execution

  • Organize and create materials, agendas, and logistics documentation to support regional and program wide conferences.
  • Maintain event timelines and ensure all stakeholders meet key deadlines.

Technology Support & Coordination

  • Act as the primary escalation point for technology issues impacting the Investments & Planning team.
  • Submit and track ServiceNow tickets for program technology updates.
  • Communicate status updates to affected team members and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
  • Support and coordinate testing across the program and division, as needed, for technology updates and enhancements.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of Broker Dealer or RIA experience
  • Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and analyze business unit reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Self-directed with a demonstrated ability to identify problems and drive solutions
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration skills with internal and external partners to complete assigned business unit priorities.
  • Effectively demonstrate professional judgement and ethical decision-making in a regulated environment.
  • Proven ability to multi-task while adhering to multiple timetables of completion.

Desired:

  • FINRA S7, S66, & S24 (or S9/10) - or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong understanding of brokerage, advisory and insurance products, and accounts.
  • Familiarity with FINRA regulations and OSJ audit processes
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $63,288.00-$104,425.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
