Material Handler

Arkansas Heavy Equipment Safety-Critical Role

Keep our fabrication operations moving as a key member of the material handling team. You'll operate heavy specialized equipment, stage structural steel components, and ensure safe, efficient flow of materials from receiving to outbound shipment.

What you'll do

  • Receive, stage, and move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
  • Operate specialized heavy equipment including Combi-lift straddle carriers, large forklifts, and telehandlers
  • Load and unload materials to keep production on schedule and running smoothly
  • Securely rig and load finished structural steel beams and components onto outbound trucks
  • Enforce and model safety best practices at all times - in a heavy industrial environment, safety is everything

Required

  • Demonstrated experience in heavy industrial material handling
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain quickly)
  • Extreme focus on personal and team safety

Preferred

  • Experience with Combi-lift straddle carriers or telehandlers
  • Background in structural steel or heavy fabrication environments
  • Rigging or crane signal experience

Forklift cert is preferred. we'll consider strong candidates without it.
