Job description

Operations Manager- Remote

Location: Remote
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Compensation: [Based on experience โ€” to be discussed]

About the Role

Some people look at a tangle of disconnected tools, scattered workflows, and "the way we've always done it" and feel a quiet thrill ..I can fix this. I can build something better. If your mind naturally turns chaos into clean, connected systems, and you feel real joy when everything finally works togetherโ€ฆ this is the role you've been waiting for.

We are a Dallasโ€“Fort Worthโ€“based, faith-driven organization that produces live events, tours, and speaking engagements for a nationally recognized Christian speaker and entertainer. Our work exists to encourage and uplift audiences through comedy, storytelling, and ministry, and as we grow, we need someone who can build the operational backbone that lets all of it run beautifully.

That someone is you.

We're hiring a Director of Operations to own and drive system management across the entire company. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll be the architect who selects and implements the right systems, connects the dots between every department, and gives our whole team the structure and clarity they need to thrive. You won't just keep things running โ€” you'll make them run better than ever.

Our Culture

We are a Christian-anchored company, and our faith isn't just something we point to on a stage โ€” it's how we treat each other and everyone we serve. We've built a beautiful culture of service and ministry that flows both ways: we pour into the people inside our company just as intentionally as we pour into the audiences and communities outside of it.

We are united from the inside out. When you walk through our doors, you're not just joining a team โ€” you're joining a family that works with purpose, supports one another, and believes the way we do our work matters just as much as the work itself. If you long to do excellent work in a place where you're genuinely cared for, encouraged, and spiritually at home, you'll feel that here from day one.

What You'll Own

You'll be the steady hand on the systems that hold our company together, choosing them, building them, and creating rhythm:

  • Evaluate, select, and implement the right systems and software to run and scale our operations
  • Build the connective tissue between marketing, sales, and finance so information and workflows move seamlessly across teams โ€” no silos, no gaps, no double work
  • Design and maintain the internal team systems that make everyone's day-to-day smoother and clearer
  • Create dependable processes, SOPs, and workflows that turn good intentions into consistent results
  • Lead system rollouts with care, training the team and driving real adoption, not just installation
  • Spot bottlenecks before they become problems, and solve them with the right tool or process
  • Partner closely with department leaders to understand their needs and translate them into systems that serve
  • Bring the CEO's vision to life by turning big-picture goals into operational reality

What Success Looks Like

This is where you'll shine โ€” because for you, a well-run system isn't just efficient, it's deeply satisfying.

  • The right systems are in place and people genuinely love using them
  • Marketing, sales, and finance are fully connected and speaking the same language
  • The team has the tools, clarity, and structure to do their very best work
  • Data is accurate, accessible, and trustworthy
  • Operations scale smoothly and calmly, even as we grow
  • Friction disappears before anyone even feels it

When you do this job well, the whole company simply flows and everyone feels the difference, even if they never see the brilliant systems behind it.

Who You Are

You're a builder at heart โ€” a systems thinker who sees the whole board and can't rest until the pieces fit together perfectly. You're the person who:

  • Turns complexity into clean, repeatable, beautiful process
  • Is strategic and hands-on. You design the vision and roll up your sleeves to build it
  • Loves results, accuracy, and the deep stability of things done right
  • Knows the tools, and knows how to choose the right one for the job
  • Leads with a servant's heart; you measure your success by how well the team is supported
  • Stays calm, grounded, and steady under pressure
  • Communicates clearly and connects effortlessly across departments
  • Anticipates needs and builds ahead of them, before anyone has to ask

If you find peace in order, pride in accuracy, and purpose in serving others through the systems you build, you'll feel right at home here.

Experience

  • 5+ years in operations, business operations, or systems management, including leadership experience
  • Proven track record selecting and implementing systems and software (e.g., CRM, project management, finance, and automation tools)
  • Experience connecting cross-functional teams, marketing, sales, and finance
  • Strong history of building SOPs, workflows, and process improvements that stuck
  • Comfortable leading change and driving real adoption across a team
  • Faith-aligned and excited to serve in a Christian, ministry-minded environment

Why You'll Love It Here

This is a meaningful, high-impact seat on a mission-driven, Christian-anchored team that will treasure your gifts. You'll be trusted to build, empowered to lead, and recognized as the architect who made everything run beautifully all while doing work that uplifts and encourages people, night after night.
