The Store Director actively coaches and develops team members, ensuring continuous opportunities for growth and skill development. They also play a pivotal role in fostering positive community relationships, demonstrating a commitment to both the well-being of the community and the success of the store.As Rivers Co-op Markets brings together the strengths of two cooperatives, the Store Director plays a critical role in leading through change, building team engagement, and ensuring employees and member owners have a positive experience. Store Directors will utilize various equipment including but not limited to a POS system, knives, pallet jack, a baler, computers, and printers. This role requires exchanging accurate information in person, over the phone, and through email and other written communication. Store Directors will occasionally work in a walk-in cooler and be exposed to sanitizer, cleaning products, and loud noises, and may be designated as staff to be contacted in emergency situations.
