We are currently seeking a Store Assistant to assist with duties including, but not limited to, in store merchandising, customer service, and POS transactions.
What You'll Do:
• Be readily available to assist and support incoming customers, providing a high level of customer service with a goal of 0 customer complaints.
• Engage customers with excellent customer service to make them feel welcome and comfortable in store.
• Contribute to sales and inventory goal attainment through promotion of products and excellent customer service.
• Assist in outbound customer communications by conducting outbound calls, sending or emailing thank you notes, and inviting customers to company held events.
• Maintain current knowledge of products and promotions to effectively assist customers.
• Assemble and disassemble Merchandise and Promotional Displays in a timely manner at the beginning and end of promotional periods.
• Manage and maintain stock in store.
• Maintain a clean and presentable environment for customers.
• All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Who You Are:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated in a clear, concise, accurate, timely and professional manner.
• Ability to follow instructions with a positive attitude.
• Comfortable with the use of computers.
• Comfortable working with numbers, able to apply basic mathematical concepts.
• Stand and/or sit continuously to perform job functions for a full shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• At least 1 year Retail Sales experience preferred.
