Primary Purpose

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys developing high-performing teams? As a Supervisor, Distribution Operations, you'll play a critical role in keeping our distribution center running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You'll lead an engaged team of associates, drive daily operational excellence, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met.

In this high-impact role, you'll work closely with the Operations Manager and cross-functional partners across Distribution, Transportation, and Inventory Management. Your leadership will directly influence service to retail, associate engagement, and the continuous improvement of our operations.

What You'll Do & Deliver

  • Lead a Safety-First Culture
    Maintain a safe, positive work environment where associates are treated fairly and consistently. Champion safe practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and minimize unsafe events.
  • Supervise & Develop Your Team
    Oversee day-to-day department operations and assigned associates. Coach, motivate, and manage performance through feedback, recognition, and corrective action.
  • Drive Operational Excellence
    Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, accurate flow of inventory in and out of the distribution center, meeting commitments to retail and customers.
  • Optimize Staffing & Training
    Monitor department staffing, adjust resources as needed, and support recruiting, onboarding, and training efforts.
  • Communicate & Coordinate
    Share critical shift updates and collaborate with other departments to minimize disruptions and maximize throughput.
  • Meet Performance & Budget Goals
    Lead your team to achieve operational targets while managing productivity, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Ensure Compliance & Quality
    Enforce standards in safety, productivity, accuracy, food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify Improvement Opportunities
    Provide feedback to leadership and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and service levels.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Education

  • 5+ years of experience in general distribution operations, or a BS/BA in a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • College degree (preferred)
  • Prior supervisory experience leading hourly associates (preferred)
  • Certified on powered industrial equipment (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Basic understanding of business and financial reports
  • Proven leadership ability with a talent for engaging and motivating others
  • Strong customer focus and collaboration skills
  • Clear communication and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment

Other Requirements

  • Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -5F to 90F+ for extended periods
