Job description

Grand Canyon University is seeking a Distribution Center Associate to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCU's Lope Shops department.

Purpose within the Organization:

The Lope Shop Distribution Center Associate will provide back-end customer service for the Lope Shops.Assist in receiving all merchandise for stores, restocking the stores, cleaning, and maintaining of the Distribution Center.

Responsibilities Related to Purpose:

  • Work in the Distribution Center to support Web Shop and all Lope Shop locations.
  • Receive inventory for all Lope Shop Stores.
  • Pull inventory listed on sales reports and ensure stores are stocked properly.
  • Know all aspects of the Point of Sale / Inventory system.
  • Aid in putting in UPC's in the inventory system when received.
  • Assist with transferring inventory between locations.
  • Fulfill web orders and package them for shipping.
  • Clean Distribution Center and put unused inventory away in respective store.
  • Assist in organizing the Distribution Center.
  • Ensure stock is sorted between locations within the Distribution Center.
  • Fold and hang all clothing, size tag, or sticker items.

Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy.
Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:

  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
