Location: Golden, CO

Hours: Full-time

Position Mission

The Stewardship Specialist will support the Stewardship Manager and the Mission Development department by managing and improving data systems, coordinating day-to-day operations, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all stewardship processes.

This role is essential for maintaining high-quality donor records, conducting research to support engagement initiatives, managing printing and mailing logistics, and enabling the team to operate smoothly and effectively. The Stewardship Specialist ensures timely, accurate, and reliable stewardship operations that directly support donor engagement and the mission of FOCUS Mission Foundation.

Position Responsibilities

  • Research & Data Management
    • Maintain and update donor databases and stewardship records with high accuracy
    • Conduct internal and external research to gather accurate, consistent statistics and data that support donor engagement initiatives
    • Collaborate with internal departments to validate information and ensure messaging alignment
    • Handle sensitive donor information with discretion
  • System Coordination & Process Improvement
    • Assist in managing stewardship systems and workflows; identify gaps and recommend improvements
    • Support updates, training, and key projects such as Receipting, Stewardship Reports, and Annual Tax Summaries
  • Proofing & Quality Control
    • Review communications, reports, and orders related to stewardship for accuracy and completeness
    • Ensure all stewardship practices are consistent and aligned with organizational goals
  • Departmental Support & Printing Coordination
    • Respond promptly to requests from the Stewardship Manager and other team members
    • Coordinate and execute printing of stewardship materials, both in-office and through external vendors, ensuring high-quality production
    • Facilitate executive review and feedback on materials prior to final production
    • Collaborate with project management and marketing teams as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with productivity and database tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Blackbaud NXT, other CRM/database platforms)
  • Comfort working in a mission-driven, faith-based organization

Compensation & Benefits

For this role, we anticipate paying $55,000 - $65,000/year. This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.
