Trail Drive Management Corporation Dickies Arena of Fort Worth, TX

Dickies Arena is a 14,000 seat, spectacular multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The arena is owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit operating entity, Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC).

Job Summary:

Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a full-time Steward. This position is responsible for supporting kitchen operations by adhering to all sanitation standards.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work in culinary, preparation, and pantry spaces throughout the arena
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines, hand-wash stations, and pot scrubbing stations
  • Thoroughly complete all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
  • Ensure clean dishware is stored
  • Clean and maintain sanitation areas
  • Practice proper work procedures, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Maintain the organization of all chemicals and cleaning supplies, including the proper storage of mops, brooms, etc.
  • Ensure clean wares are stored appropriately
  • Be comfortable with the arena and know how to navigate personally, as well as assist guests.
  • Support any other Food & Beverage departments as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
  • Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Employees will regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting.
  • Employees may be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
  • Employees may be exposed to sharp objects, machines with moving parts, heat from ovens, burners, steam, trays, etc.
  • Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
  • Employees may be exposed to hazardous chemicals or fumes during a shift.
