SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Utility Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, cookware, dishware, utensils, and food preparation areas. This position ensures clean supplies are readily available for Food & Beverage operations while supporting a safe, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
  • Practice, support, and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, cookware, dishes, flatware, glassware, utensils, and food preparation areas.
  • Clear dishes and service items from all Food & Beverage outlets and transport them to the dishwashing area.
  • Replenish clean dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen supplies throughout the property.
  • Break down and thoroughly clean kitchen equipment using approved cleaning products and procedures.
  • Transport kitchen floor mats from outlets for cleaning and return them to the appropriate locations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dishwashing and stewarding area.
  • Assist Food & Beverage Attendants and other team members as needed.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company policies and procedures.
  • Attend required department meetings and training sessions.
  • Provide outstanding service to both guests and fellow team members.
  • Maintain a professional, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be 19 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Previous customer service or food service experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand and follow MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position supporting a 24/7/365 gaming and hospitality operation. Team members must be available to work assigned shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Team members must be able to:

  • Work around commercial kitchen equipment, cleaning chemicals, heat, and noise
