Amentum is seeking an Assessment Integrator (SME) to support Combatant Command Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) under the Apollo program. The selected candidate will integrate planning, operational execution, and assessment processes to enable data-driven decision-making, campaign effectiveness evaluation, and return-on-investment visibility for information operations across global theaters.

As an Assessment Integrator (SME) you will have the opportunity to:

  • Serve as the lead Assessment Integrator supporting Combatant Command (CCMD) OIE plans and operations, synchronizing assessment activities with campaign objectives and operational design.
  • Integrate assessment into the Joint Planning Process (JP 5-0), ensuring alignment of Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) with commander intent and desired outcomes.
  • Develop and implement campaign assessment frameworks that enable continuous evaluation of information operations, including PSYOP and other information force activities.
  • Synchronize data from multiple sources (operational reporting, intelligence, open-source, and research data) to produce integrated assessments.
  • Leverage enterprise systems (e.g., C2IE, Maven or equivalent) to capture, manage, and visualize assessment data across planning and execution cycles.
  • Provide timely, decision-quality assessments and briefings to senior military leadership to support battle rhythm events and operational decision-making.
  • Enable transparency in campaign effectiveness through quantified assessment outputs, including support to return-on-investment (ROI) analysis.
  • Collaborate across plans, operations, intelligence, and analytic teams to ensure unity of effort in assessment design and execution

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have an active Top-Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree linked to data analytics (e.g., math, physics, computer science) OR problem set analysis (e.g., international relations, political science, cultural anthropology, communication studies, etc.) and a minimum of 8 years' experience; minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Combatant Command (CCMD) or Joint Staff operations
  • Demonstrated experience with the Joint Planning Process, developing and executing operational or campaign assessments (MOP/MOE frameworks)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) or PSYOP assessments
  • Demonstrated experience applying social media-oriented data analytic tool kits towards the evaluations of problem sets in the information environment.
  • Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is essential.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python and R.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with cloud-based data integration.
  • Experience with building briefs summarizing data and research findings in MS PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree (MS, PhD, etc.) linked to data analytics (e.g., math, physics, computer science) or problem set analysis (e.g., international relations, political science, cultural anthropology, communication studies, etc.).
  • Experience implementing data standardization / ontology frameworks for operational assessment
  • Familiarity with automated or AI-enabled assessment tools or platforms
  • Experience supporting ROI analysis or resource-informed assessment within PPBE processes
  • Prior role as Assessment Integrator, IO Planner, or Operational Planner
  • Experience with libraries such as Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation and SciPy for scientific computing.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch might be beneficial depending on further responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with version control and DevOp tools such as Git.
  • Demonstrated experience applying data analytic tools towards addressing national security issues.
  • Familiarity with containerization (using Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) to support cross-domain and scalable solutions.
  • Joint intelligence or operational experience with U.S. Geographical Combatant Commands.
  • Prior experience working at a combatant command.
  • Experience with campaign / operational assessments.
  • OSINT experience for interpreting the relevance of online trends, themes, narratives, and adversary behaviors in the information environment.
  • Experience utilizing C2IE (Command and Control of the Information Environment) to record assessment-related data on operations in the information environment (OIE).
  • Statistical package expertise in IBM SPSS/PASW, R, STATA or MS Excel statistics.

Compensation Details:

$130,000 - 180,000
