Job Summary

Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Project Statistician (R2‑R4) to support current and new products and processes, driving and sustaining statistical thinking and appropriate use of statistical methodologies. Provide statistical expertise, study design, and communicate data‑driven decisions for process improvements, method development and validation, assay transfer, and stability studies. Establish control strategies for manufacturing processes and analytical assays. Communicate study results and statistical concepts in one‑on‑one meetings, oral presentations, internal reports, and presentations at professional association meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Support current and new products and processes, driving and sustaining statistical thinking and methodologies.
  • Provide statistical expertise, study design, and communicate data‑driven decisions for process improvements, method development and validation, assay transfer, and stability studies.
  • Establish control strategies for manufacturing processes and analytical assays.
  • Communicate study results and statistical concepts through meetings, oral presentations, internal reports, and at professional association meetings.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related STEM field.
  • Minimum 1 year of academic or employment experience implementing statistical analyses and communicating results.
  • Experience with statistical programming software (SAS or R).
  • Experience investigating raw data issues identified during statistical analysis.
  • Experience with regression analysis and experimental design.
  • Part‑time telecommuting benefit available.

Benefits

Actual compensation will depend on candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $46,842.00 - $117,993.00 per year.

Full‑time employees will also be eligible for a company bonus (depending on company and individual performance).
