  • Design, develop and support functional and system test boxes, and test wiring harnesses
  • Define test requirements, developing schematics, PCB layouts, and test interface wiring harnesses for intermediate UUT designs
  • Follow departmental processes for test development including design reviews, configuration management, requirements management and test equipment qualification
  • Design, develop and manage Boundary Scan tests and pass thruโ€™ assembly tests
  • Involved in technical reviews and provide feedback on the designs of fellow Test Engineers/Test Engineering Designers
  • Engage in continuous improvement to enhance Test Automation and Test architecture
ย  ย  Technical Skills Required
  • Practical understanding/implementation of various technologies in Electronics and Test Engineering.
  • Practical understanding/implementation of circuit card assemblies, wiring harnesses, and circuit card manufacturing processes.
  • Practical understanding/implementation of designing custom circuit cards using OrCad Capture and Allegro PCB layout.
  • Practical understanding/implementation of designing with microcontrollers, FPGA's and programming in VHDL.
  • Practical understanding/implementation of knowledge of communications protocols (i.e. RS232, RS422, USB, I2C, CAN Bus, Ethernet etc.).
  • Practical understanding/implementation of with SDI video standards and signal analysis techniques
  • Practical understanding/implementation of designing and developing functional tests and/or automation systems using LabVIEW & C#.
  • Practical understanding/implementation of JTAG Boundary Scan testing.ย ย ย ย ย 
Experience & Education Requirements
  • Requires practical knowledge of job area.
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.ย
