Job Title: MACHINE OPERATOR II - 3RD SHIFT

Job Description:
Shifts Available
3rd shift works Monday through Friday from 11 pm to 7 am and receives a 10% shift differential
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Successfully perform all functions of Stamping Operator I
  • Move within a team setting to keep stamping presses running.
  • Set up stamping dies and presses and perform the die work necessary to produce a quality part
  • Perform in press change overs
  • Perform all the quality checks necessary to produce quality product
  • Make stock changes and stock dies
  • Assist in setting up auxiliary equipment needed to run presses
  • Remove jams and perform minor die repair work

Education / Experience:
  • Ideal candidate will have successfully completed one (1) year as a Stamping Operator I
  • Must successfully complete a print reading and precision measuring skills review by the position supervisor
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Math skills and computer skills
  • Must have successfully completed the Die Design & Theory course and passed the associated exam
  • Must successfully demonstrate and complete a die change-over to the point where a strip is out of the die

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and carry a maximum weight of 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to push a peak force of 69 lbs.
  • Must be able to pull a peak force of 80 lbs.
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout the day is required in this job

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $20.00 - $22.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
