Stamping Set-Up Operator:
  • Sets up and operates assigned equipment up to 630-ton press.
  • Capable of running multiple pieces of equipment, stand alone or cellular fashion.
  • Trained and certified on all presses and complex tooling above 630-ton press or operate a cell of machines that includes secondary processes.
  • Perform minor in-die tool component changes.
  • Rotate to various assigned machines as required.
  • Problem solves and makes corrective adjustments during set-up and operation of assigned equipment.
  • Responsible for adhering to best safety practices in performing the job
  • Responsible for maintaining all quality requirements and productivity standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining 5S throughout the department.
  • Trains and provides work direction to others as required.
  • Work with management, engineering, and quality technicians on process improvement.
  • Completes daily routine maintenance as required.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications
PAY RATE: $25.00/HOUR PLUS .75 FOR SHIFT PREMIUM- HOURS 3PM TO 1AM MON-THURS.
AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF 6 MONTH TRAINING PERIOD WAGE WILL PROGRESS TO $30.06/HOUR.
Skill requirements:
  • Inspection of tools and equipment
  • Basic reading, writing, math, organizational, and computer skills
  • Must pass a Mechanical aptitude test
  • Must hold or pass STRATTEC forklift operator driver's license
