Group 2 from $18.24 to $22.70 per hour
Position Purpose: Handle routine correspondence, phone calls, and daily office management. Assist the Assistant Principal / Athletic Director in ordering, processing, and disbursement of supplies. Keep financial records of payments for officials, entry fees, and tournaments. Assist the Athletic Director in hiring of officials for athletic events as requested.
Responsibilities:
Communicates, collaborates, and cooperates with colleagues, supervisors, and students.
Serves as secretary to Assistant Principal for Athletics.
Answers routine phone inquiries, takes messages, routes calls.
Maintain accurate files and records primarily as they pertain to athletics, coaches, and athletic contests.
Schedule transportation and officials for athletics and activities
Order, process and maintain materials and equipment.
Assist in preparation of reports and related departmental requirements.
Opens and distributes mail.
Types, prepares, distributes, records, reports, correspondence, etc. as requested.
Takes and transcribes notes for correspondence as requested.
Maintains athletic/activity eligibility of students.
Participate in all mandatory training or training appropriate to the position as required by the district.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of one-year previous related experience and/or training in the office or athletic administration
Preferred Qualifications:
Extended education, post High School
Experience working with Google Docs
Experience supervising Student Workers
