Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Assist in day-to-day turf management practices associated with maintaining professional sports field.
  • Operate and maintain turf management equipment.
  • Assist in stadium field preparation, set up, and tear down.
  • Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance projects to keep all inventory in working condition. Including but not limited to irrigation system, mowers, tables and chairs.
  • Assist in the production, setup, teardown, and execution of all events at Texas Health Mansfield Stadium. These events include, but are not limited to, major events (concerts, conventions, sporting events, etc.) and small events (corporate retreats, luncheons, meetings, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, pull, carry or push 50 - 75 pounds in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to physically walk, run or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat, cold and rain.
  • Experience working on sports fields, golf courses, or landscape management highly preferred but not required.
  • Irrigation management and repair experience preferred.
  • Ability to setup rooms by interpreting diagrams and follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail and last minute updates or requests
