Event Set Up Crew (Part-Time)
Department: Stadium Operations
Direct Supervisor: Sr. Manager, Stadium Operations
Status: Part-time / Hourly
Summary:
Set Up Crew is a part-time, event-based role responsible for the set-up, breakdown, and execution of all stadium events.
Responsibilities:
  • Work all stadium events including but not limited to Miami Dolphins football games, University of Miami football games, Miami Open tennis tournament, Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, concerts, festivals and various special events
  • Set-up seating arrangements and audio-visual equipment for meetings, dinners, parties, and banquets
  • Set-up stadium spaces, signage, flags, banners, and other conversion responsibilities from one event or sport to another
  • Installation and removal of field parts and seating
  • Respond to requests from management, front office employees, vendors, guests, and team representatives to move furniture, boxes, and equipment.
  • Receive deliveries and assist with stadium loading dock operations
  • Satisfy requests from vendors, guests, team representatives to relocate materials and equipment on event day
  • Set-Up and breakdown stadium entry spaces for events.
  • Distribute Miami Dolphins and University of Miami โ€œgiveawaysโ€ to each gate
  • Move โ€œrisersโ€ and stages on/off field for Football Halftimes and other large-scale events
  • Store, retrieve, and re-arrange various items in our storage areas for all departments
  • Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED required (some college education preferred)
  • Current college students with flexible schedules to work all stadium events, as well as days leading up to the events and days after the event are encouraged to apply
  • The ability to understand instructions from supervisor(s) and stadium management
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to climb, crawl, kneel, squat, bend, and extend arms or legs fully
  • Ability to operate forklift and warehouse equipment (not required but preferred)
