Event Management Specialist, Stadium Security

Department: Stadium Operations

Reports To: Director of Security Operations

Job Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Description:

The Event Management Specialist plays a critical role in supporting event-day operations at Yankee Stadium. This position is responsible for overseeing security activities, ensuring compliance with operational protocols, and enhancing communication between Stadium Operations, contracted security personnel, and law enforcement. The role is essential to maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-quality experience for all guests.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deploy staff to assigned stadium gates to supervise security setup, confirm compliance with entry protocols, and ensure readiness.
  • Redeploy staff to critical stadium zones (field level, 200 level, suite level, upper deck, and bleachers) for ongoing oversight and support.
  • Act as direct liaison for Stadium Operations between, contracted security, and law enforcement.
  • Monitor and communicate operational or security concerns.
  • Identify, document, and escalate issues in real time to prevent disruptions.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in large-scale event operations.
  • Guest services experience required.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible, event-based schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on safety and guest experience.
  • Requires mobility throughout the stadium and prolonged standing/walking with or without a reasonable accommodation.
