Job Summary
Join the Culinary team at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, and be part of an energetic, fast-paced environment where every day brings new opportunities to create exceptional dining experiences. As a Banquet Cook, you'll prepare high-quality meals for a variety of events, contributing to memorable moments for fans and guests.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook high-quality, premium ingredients for catered events, premium stadium offerings, game day events, and other events as needed.
  • Follow recipes and ensure the execution of dishes, focusing on marinating, seasoning, and cooking meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables.
  • Ensure the freshness, quality, and storage of all ingredients used in food preparation.
  • Work closely with Culinary team to execute event-specific menu items, ensuring food is cooked according to recipes, standards, event specifications, and Levy Core Signature standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, including sinks, counters, and cooking equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation for other kitchen departments, work collaboratively with Culinary team to ensure timely service and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with Prep Cooks to ensure ingredients are properly prepared and ready.
  • Monitor inventory levels of key ingredients and coordinate with culinary team to ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations; follow established safety standards for food handling, preparation, cooking, and storage.
  • Work with Kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
  • Assists with all event types including catering, department specific products, game day events.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Experience in food preparation or culinary arts, large-volume kitchen experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, knife skills, and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and HACCP guidelines.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • This position may require the following valid certifications, Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging 6-12 hours, during events or as required by operational demands.
  • Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination to perform tasks such as chopping, cutting, and food preparation.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and ascending/descending stairs as necessary
  • Frequently required to use fingers and hands to operate equipment
