Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in their search for Forklift Operator positions in Sparks, NV. This is a great opportunity to further your existing warehouse and material handling skills while learning new ones to assist you in your career. Responsibilities:

  • Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to safely push, pull, lift, stack, and move products, equipment, and materials throughout the warehouse.

  • Use handheld RF scanners with a high degree of accuracy to track inventory, process orders, and maintain accurate records.

  • Load and unload trailers while following safety procedures and quality standards.

  • Perform inbound receiving processes and demonstrate a commitment to supply chain quality, process excellence, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts, order pickers, or other powered industrial equipment in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.

  • Current forklift or order picker certification is not required prior to hire; certification training will be provided by the client. Candidates must be able to successfully complete and obtain certification upon hire.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally, and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing, and pulling.

  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and work in hot or cold warehouse environments.

  • Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Pay Details: $18.75 per hour
