Job description

Job Title: Manufacturing Associate / Machine Operator - Setter/Drawer
Location: Worcester, MA
Shift: 4:30 AM – 12:30 PM (1st Shift)
 

About the Role:
Seeking a reliable and motivated Setter/Drawer II to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on manufacturing experience who are comfortable with physical work and enjoy being part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and build product configurations for kiln, oven, or furnace loading.

  • Stack products on racks, platforms, or tunnel kiln cars following manufacturing instructions.

  • Use deck batts, blocks, clamps, and fillers to prepare ceramics or abrasives for firing.

  • Select products by burn type and firing schedule.

  • Remove products from kiln manually or using hoist and truck cars.

  • Move products to inspection areas and perform visible quality checks.

  • Follow safety and operational procedures; perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.

  • Prior manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience is a plus.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
