Job description

General Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Standing Forklift Operator with deep reach (reach truck) experience to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely moving, locating, stacking, and counting merchandise while operating a standing reach forklift in a fast-paced distribution environment. Flexible to work on weekends and this is a union position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate a standing reach (deep reach) forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse
  • Load, unload, pick, and stage products accurately and efficiently
  • Safely place and retrieve pallets from high rack shelving
  • Perform routine equipment inspections before and after use
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper scanning and documentation
  • Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and company procedures
  • Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and organizing inventory
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Able to work in a refrigerated storage area
