WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Application Management: Oversee application supportability and stability, managing day-to-day support processes and serving as the single point of contact to drive process improvements, innovation, and operational maturity.
  • Partnership & Collaboration: Build and sustain trusted relationships with internal and external partners, providing guidance on application transition, support strategies, and integration with business operations.
  • Governance & Best Practices: Ensure application environments are governed by documented protocols and procedures, including change, release, problem, and incident management.
  • Systems Integration: Partner with Integration, Plant Systems, Warehouse Management, SAP Basis, and Application Development teams to ensure systems are stable, properly interfaced, and changes are tested and released in line with business requirements.
  • Communication & Coordination: Provide regular updates on open requests and system performance issues, coordinating resources for design, testing, and implementation while keeping stakeholders informed of progress and business impacts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement through the use of metrics and automation, implement proactive monitoring practices, and identify opportunities to enhance system tools and processes.
  • Incident & Issue Resolution: Lead application support response during outages or performance issues, coordinating proactive resolution efforts and communicating impacts and resolutions with transparency.
  • Project & Resource Management: Apply project management discipline to prioritize workstreams, allocate resources, meet timelines, and provide consistent status reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual plans that align business goals with IT application support functions, ensuring sustainable integration of applications across portfolios.

WHAT WE'RE SEEKING:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, and 5+ years of relevant IT experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT software and systems delivery lifecycle from design and development through deployment and support. Experience in technical delivery in an SAP Finance and Accounting environment with a focus on Record to Report and BW/BPC for analytics and reporting experience.
  • Leadership & Management: 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership. Proven ability to lead teams in complex, matrixed environments, driving operational excellence while managing under conditions of ambiguity and uncertainty. Skilled at facilitating change, developing talent, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to assess system capabilities, troubleshoot effectively, and implement improvements that enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Financial System Knowledge: General Ledger, Controlling, Profit Center Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset, Treasury, Tax, Blackline, Basware, High-Radius, Consolidations and Financial Reporting, and leading multiple cross-functional integrations with SD and Operations.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence peers, cross-functional teams, and executive leadership. Adept at building strong partnerships across organizational boundaries.
  • Project Management: Hands-on experience applying project management practices to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and deliver high-quality results on time and within scope.
  • Team & Culture Fit: Respectful, approachable, and team-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments while building strong working relationships and promoting a positive workplace culture.
