RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Contracts SME | Contracts SME [SRNS0029029]

  • Interpret regulations; advise on compliance; support procedure validation.
  • Provides expert-level guidance on federal contracting, FAR/DEAR compliance, and SRNS contract alignment.  Drives Contracts & Supply Chain Management (C&SCM)  procedural transformation ensuring FAR - Federal Acquisition Regulation, DEAR - Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation, and NSA - National Nuclear Security Administration alignment, and enterprise integration.
  • Lead/execute analysis of contracts and regulations; develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s, process maps, and templates; support training; ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Regulatory analysis, technical writing, procurement lifecycle expertise, stakeholder engagement, training delivery, analytics.
  • Analytical thinking, communication, compliance discipline, leadership (senior roles), adaptability, collaboration.
  • Supports 5-year Nuclear and Environmental Management Energy, Infrastructure, And Environment engagement; hybrid delivery with possible onsite badging; supports ~360 personnel.
  • Contributes to acquisition lifecycle flowcharts, compliance updates, and procedural sustainment.
