Senior WorkForce Software Consultant (Configuration/Technical)
Job Summary:
Next Generation, Inc, an Equal-Opportunity Employer, is seeking a highly skilled Senior WorkForce Software Consultant with deep expertise in the configuration and technical implementation of WorkForce Software solutions. This remote role is ideal for professionals who excel at translating functional requirements into scalable, high-quality configurations. Occasional travel to client sites may be required to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Configure and implement WorkForce Software modules based on detailed functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain configuration components including pay rules, schedules, attendance policies, and workflow automation.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and compliance with business needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Document configuration processes and contribute to knowledge base development.
  • Participate in client workshops and provide expert-level input on configuration best practices.
  • Stay current with WorkForce Software updates, features, and industry trends.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in WorkForce Software configuration and technical implementation.
  • Proven ability to interpret functional requirements and deliver accurate, scalable configurations.
  • Strong understanding of workforce management concepts including timekeeping, scheduling, and compliance.
  • Experience with XML, SQL, and other relevant technologies used in WorkForce Software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with WorkForce Software integrations and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
  • WorkForce Software certification(s) or equivalent training.
  • Prior consulting experience with enterprise clients.

Job Benefits:
Competitive FTE salary range based on experience, education, and geographical location of $100,000 - $130,000 USD base. Benefits for full-time employees include:
