Position Summary: Senior Project Manager

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to take ownership of Commercial Construction (structural steel) projects from inception to completion. This leadership role requires balancing schedules, budgets, and client relationships while ensuring projects meet Doing Steel Fabrication's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple commercial construction (structural steel) projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Direct and coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors. Monitor progress, resolve issues proactively, and prepare regular project updates for leadership.
  • Review and approve project documentation, drawings, and specifications.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 15years of experience in commercial construction (structural steel)
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and social skills. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams effectively.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook required).
  • Proven ability to read, understand, and interpret Construction Drawings/Plans and other project documentation.

Work Environment:

Frequent presence on the manufacturing floor as well as field operations. Exposure to conditions, such as: dust, fumes, noise and high-degree varying seasonal temperatures.
