This position is funded through the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), a five-year initiative (May 2026 - September 2030) funded by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to support rural population health innovations and create new opportunities to advance preventive health and address the root causes of disease. In Maine, the Nourish ME component of the RHTP promotes population health through evidence-based nutrition education and public health interventions that support individuals, communities, and healthcare organizations across the state.
The Program Associate will support the development of a sustainable nutrition education infrastructure for chronic disease prevention and management in Maine communities.
