Job description

AWS Support Field Strategy & Operations is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid‑market accounts to enterprise‑level customers, including public sector. The enterprise support team seeks a driven, analytical thinker with strong operational experience to support business operations for field teams. The role involves driving operational cadences, business performance, and productivity while championing internal customers’ needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage business planning on behalf of assigned field teams and key stakeholders.
  • Own execution of Geo/Area planning, productivity improvements, site and level mix planning, headcount planning, goal planning, and operational target setting and budgeting.
  • Maintain data integrity and use operations tools such as Quicksight and Excel.
  • Apply controllership to variable headcount plans to minimize risk and maximize opportunities, providing judgment on business health and influencing management decisions.
  • Dive deep into large data sets to mitigate business risk and downstream impacts of related actions.
  • Toggle between tactical actions and long‑term initiatives, projects, and planning activities.
  • Proactively and independently work with stakeholders to identify business needs and design and implement solutions.
  • Utilize knowledge of available data for complex or comparative analysis.
  • Draft written and verbal communication for management and cross‑functional settings.
Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools used for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Experience automating processes or accelerating work with GenAI solutions.
