The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, process optimization, financial, as well as relationship building and communication skills. They will be responsible responsiblefor the efficient operation of the warehouse, including order fulfillment,shipping/receiving and inventory control activities. Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of the facility, ensuring the site runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. This role leads warehouse operations with a strong focus on productivity, quality, cost control, and safety.
The position provides leadership to operations managers, supervisors, and hourly associates, while also supporting long-term operational strategy and workforce planning. The Senior Operations Manager works closely with HR, IT, and Finance to achieve business goals and improve performance across the operation.
Key responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring contract and quality management requirements are consistently met. This role oversees staffing activities such as hiring, training, development, scheduling, and performance management, in partnership with the HR team.
The Senior Operations Manager is also responsible for maintaining accurate time and attendance, ensuring proper use and maintenance of equipment, and upholding 5S workplace organization and safety standards. Inventory levels, stock accuracy, and overall operational efficiency are continuously managed to support customer and business needs.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years warehouse or supply chain leadership experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It'd be great if youalso have:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience
  • Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience
  • Working knowledge of financial accounting, including developing and/or managing a P&L; experience with HR practices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with warehouse operations and systems
  • Ability to manage daily execution and problem-solving
