Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to join our Procurement team, which is part of our Finance organization. This person will partner with the Head of Procurement and leaders throughout the firm to develop and execute a strategic vision and operational excellence to maximize value through effective and strategic sourcing and procurement practices. The Senior Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing multiple stakeholder groups which will contribute to the overall financial results of the firm.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Providing leadership and support our business partners through contract negotiation, supplier management and enabling in e-procurement technologies
  • Work closely with our business partners to negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure the best possible pricing and terms. Conduct bids as well as support department-specific sourcing projects.
  • Institute policies and procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce costs while increasing productivity
  • Initiate process improvements that enable the buying process at Dimensional
  • Managing the procurement process from request to delivery, including issuing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and managing business partner expectations
  • Prepare and present business cases, monthly and quarterly metrics reports
  • Lead the Request for Proposal process, including partnering with stakeholders to create the Statement of Work
  • Participate in global scale contract management and associated logistics
  • Collaborate with legal and infosec teams to ensure vendor and supplier the appropriateness of contract terms and ensure compliance with all regulations and controls

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, and a minimum 7+ years of experience in sourcing/strategic procurement, with a focus on indirect spend, with a focus on market data (market data systems, processes, entitlements, and audits)
  • Manage and implement processes for the procurement and allocation of Market Data, Indexes, Exchanges, and related services
  • Experience with Procure-to-Pay solutions. Oracle is preferred, but knowledge of Ariba, Coupa, Zycus, etc. is helpful.
  • A self-starter, positive attitude, selfless, ability to problem-solve under minimal supervision, in a new function, and approaches problems with a "can do attitude"
  • Ability to translate technical requirements to create and lead sourcing events and contracting
  • Experience in contracts, contract negotiations, contract strategy development and execution across multiple categories and contract types (e.g., MSAs, SOWs, etc.)
  • Detailed knowledge of the strategic sourcing process and procurement best practices and can demonstrate how this knowledge can be applied to optimize profitability and supplier performance
  • Experience enabling contract compliance and facilitating internal compliance reviews
  • Strong computer application skills; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.,
  • Team player with strong inter-personal communication and building strategic partnerships
  • Proven experience and success in leading cost savings initiatives and cross functional teams
