Job description

Senior Litigation Paralegal – Personal Injury (Woodland Hills)

Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join a well-established plaintiff’s personal injury law firm based in Woodland Hills, CA. 


About the Role

This is a hands-on, fast-paced litigation support role for a seasoned paralegal who thrives in a busy trial practice environment. You will collaborate closely with attorneys across all phases of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation, from case initiation through trial.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file Summons and Complaints

  • Draft, review, and respond to written discovery

  • Prepare Motions to Compel, Motions in Limine, and other law and motion documents

  • Manage trial preparation, including exhibits, witness files, and trial binders

  • Support attorneys with case strategy and day-to-day case management

  • Ensure deadlines are met and cases progress efficiently


Qualifications
  • Prior plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience is required

  • Demonstrated experience in:

    • Filing complaints and initiating cases

    • Discovery (both propounding and responding)

    • Law and motion drafting

    • Trial preparation

  • Ability to work independently in a high-volume practice

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with proven ability to manage multiple deadlines


Compensation
  • $70,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience

  • Full-time position
