Job description

Overview

CTG is seeking a Senior Implementation Manager to provide technical leadership, project oversight, and implementation support for complex enterprise risk projects. This role will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for improving project execution strategies, mitigating risks, ensuring quality standards, and supporting successful delivery of critical project initiatives within a regulated industrial environment.

Location: Richland, WA
Duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and oversight to support successful project execution, including schedule performance, quality improvement, risk reduction, and cost-effective implementation strategies.
• Review and challenge project plans, schedules, work packages, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Validate project readiness by evaluating documentation, implementation methods, testing plans, quality requirements, materials, tooling, and field execution strategies.
• Ensure work packages and documentation are accurate, complete, and aligned with established processes and requirements.
• Identify project risks, execution challenges, and process improvements to support successful outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance related to maintenance activities, engineering processes, field implementation, and project execution methodologies.
• Support project managers through readiness reviews, strategy meetings, risk discussions, and implementation planning activities.
• Provide oversight of field and shop activities as needed, ensuring work progresses according to approved plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendor resources to remove project barriers and improve execution efficiency.
• Apply industry experience, lessons learned, and best practices to enhance project performance.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience supporting projects within a commercial nuclear power plant, steam-cycle, or regulated industrial environment.
• Experience supporting multiple refueling outages or similar complex maintenance execution environments.
• Proficiency with enterprise management systems such as SAP, Asset Suite, or comparable platforms.
• Experience developing and reviewing project schedules using Primavera and/or Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of industry codes, regulatory requirements, maintenance processes, and engineering procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced computer skills with the ability to interpret complex technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Required Experience & Education:

• 10+ years of electrical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment with an advanced degree.
• 12+ years of electrical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment with a bachelor’s degree.
• 14+ years of electrical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment with an associate degree.
• 16+ years of electrical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment with a high school diploma/GED.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $112.00 to $116.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
