Responsibilities:

The Application Developer, Advanced Technology (Senior) must be able to translate applications requirements into web-based solutions using available technology. This individual must be able to apply new and emerging technologies to the software development process. 


Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other relevant technical degrees, (Master's degree is preferred)
  • 3 years computer experience in at least two of the following disciplines: system analysis, system programming, application programming, and/or equipment analysis 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong command of SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
  • Experience creating normalized and denormalized data models
  • Familiarity with database tools (e.g., pgadmin, DBWeaver ..)
  • Understanding of indexing, partitioning and query execution plans
  • Experience with version control systems and collaboration development environments
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) 
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and integration between databases and web backends (Node.js)
  • Experience with BI/Reporting Tools (AWS Quicksight, PowerBI ..)
  • Knowledge of cloud databases (e.g., AWS RDS)
