Job description

We are seeking an EHS Data Analyst  Specialist to help turn environmental, health, safety, fleet, claims, and compliance data into meaningful insights that drive safer operations and better business decisions.

This role is ideal for an EHS professional who combines a strong understanding of safety and compliance with the ability to work confidently with data, dashboards, KPIs, and business intelligence tools. You will collect and validate enterprise EHS data, identify trends and risks, develop executive-level reporting, and partner with EHS, fleet, risk management, operations, and leadership teams to support continuous improvement.

Your work will directly contribute to improving safety performance, strengthening compliance, identifying emerging risks, and giving leaders the information they need to make informed decisions.

What You'll Do

       Collect, validate, maintain, and continuously improve enterprise EHS data across incident, claims, fleet, audit, training, and compliance systems.

       Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI scorecards, executive reports, and data visualizations using Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and related reporting platforms.

       Analyze incidents, vehicle accidents, audit, data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

       Support regulatory and operational reporting, including OSHA recordkeeping, TRIR, DART, lost-time metrics, severity, claims trends, driver safety metrics, and Road to Zero measures.

       Translate complex EHS data into clear, actionable insights for operational and executive audiences.

       Partner with EHS, Fleet, Risk Management, Operations, and executive leadership to support safety initiatives and continuous improvement.

       Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, automation, and information accessibility.

       Support timely corrective-action, audit, training, claims, incident, and compliance reporting.

       Respond to data and reporting requests while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and service expectations.

Requirements

       Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

       3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, EHS reporting, operational analytics, or a related field.

       Demonstrated experience developing dashboards, KPIs, executive reports, and actionable insights from large datasets.

       Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.

       Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

       EHS or safety credentials such as CSP, ASP, or OSHA 30-Hour.

       Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification.

       Experience working with EHS, fleet, claims, compliance, or operational data.

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency with:

       Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and Power Pivot

       Power BI

       SharePoint

Experience or knowledge of the following is a plus:
