Job Description

 Execute development projects independently;

Deliver programming results that meet specs and functional requirements on time;

Stay aligned with project team and client as requirements change;

Use Saama methods and IP to effectively contribute high quality work to Client projects and Saama Solutions.

Database development, administration and support in MS SQL Server environments.

Capture business requirements and translate them to data requirements and recommended solution(s). Produce documentation for these requirements and solutions.

SQL Development - ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints).

Troubleshoot and resolve database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues, Query Performance Tuning & Optimization using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Requirement:

Must Have:

SQL MDM / DQS experience.

Experience in creating knowledge base, troubleshoot DQS issues.

Performance tuning DQS issues.


6+ years' experience in database development, administration and support in MS SQL Server environments

Capture business requirements and translate them to data requirements and recommended solution(s). Produce documentation for these requirements and solutions.

SQL Development - ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints).

Create & maintain Integration services (BIDS) Packages, and write complex SQL statements for large scale databases.

Code optimization and performance tuning

Design, develop, enhance and support database applications

Development of complex SQL Code (stored procedures, triggers, views and functions

Good experience in Database Administration in SQL Server (2005 and 2008 and 2012).

Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues, Query Performance Tuning & Optimization using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Ability to work on multiple projects to provide adequate and proactive support for various business initiatives and applications
