 Job Title: SQL DB Developer

Location: Austin, Texas

Job Discription:


Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. 

Minimum 5 years' experience working with MS SQL Server Database 

Experience managing multiple MS SQL 2008 R2 and above on large systems in a clustered environment

Must have experience with SQL Server 2005, 2008, SSIS (ETL), SSRS

Must demonstrate expertise in data analysis, data modeling, database design, database implementation, capacity planning, and tuning.

Deep understanding of database design principals, query execution plans, stored procedures and SQL coding

Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live database systems issues

Knowledge of disaster recovery principles and practices, including planning, testing, backup/restore

Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills

Proficient with database replication and able to tune to optimize replication

Experience with MS SQL Integration Services is highly desired

Experience with T SQL and DTS stored procedures

Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects

Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL Database Security

Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service
