Primary mission:

To wash all kitchen utensils such as pots and pans as well as to clean kitchen floors, walls, and any equipment such as mixers, bruisers and steam jacketed kettles.

SCOPE OF WORK + TEAM

  • Reports to the Executive Chef/ Sous Chef
  • Supports special F&B staff ย 

RESPONSIBILITIES โ€“ ย 

  • Wash pots and pans following A.S.I. guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean work environment in pot washer area.
  • Maintain kitchen area, floors, walls, equipment clean.
  • Maintain clean walk-in coolers.
  • Handle F&B deliveries and re-stock/store food products according to first in/first out guidelines.
  • Help with basic food preparation when all other work is done.
  • Coordinate with Executive Chef/Sues Chef/Supervisor work priorities and provide assistance and perform other duties as requested by management; attend meetings as required by management.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior Experience:
    • Previous experience preferred
  • IT Expertise:
    • Advanced knowledge of computer software (including Microsoft Office, outlook) and web analytics tools is preferred.
  • Education:
    • No formal education required; High School diploma or equivalent desired
  • Subject Expertise:
    • Operate dish washing machine, dishwasher handling, Floor maintenance, physical work
    • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all property safety and security procedures as required maintaining a secure and safe environment for employees as well as guests.
    • Report any unusual occurrences and/or request to Supervisor.
    • Must be able to follow directions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
    • Must be a team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision
    • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

OTHER EXPECTATIONS:

  • Abide by payroll policies, procedures and rules of conduct as stated in the Springboard Hospitality Associate Handbook.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all company safety and security procedures.
  • Travel required: As needed for hotel familiarization, content creation shoots and to meet with colleagues.
  • Hours Required: Must primarily work during Springboard Hospitality business hours, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (PST), while understanding that the hotel business functions 24/7 and some weekend or holiday work may occasionally be required.
