Who are we hiring?
The Coordinator, Content Operations is responsible for the intake, organization, trafficking, ingestion, and programming of digital content across Sphere's digital display ecosystem. This role supports the movement and organization of digital media originating from Sphere Studios, external creative partners, vendors, and clients, ensuring all assets are accurately cataloged, validated, and deployed to the appropriate playback systems.
In addition to digital asset management responsibilities, the Coordinator, Content Operations performs routine operational inspections of display systems, assists with basic troubleshooting of playback and display hardware, and supports the ongoing reliability of Sphere's visual presentation systems.
Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced live entertainment environment.
What will you do?

  • Coordinate the receipt, validation, organization, ingestion, and deployment of digital assets from internal creative teams, Sphere Studios, external vendors, and clients.
  • Assist in the cataloging, archiving, taxonomy, and lifecycle of digital media assets.
  • Program and schedule content across the Exosphere, Digital Signage network, IPTV platform, and additional venue display systems.
  • Collaborate with Business Operations to ensure Run of Show documentation accurately reflects programmed content and event requirements.
  • Perform quality control checks to verify content integrity, technical compliance, and playback readiness.
  • Conduct routine inspections of digital signage and display systems, identifying and escalating issues as needed.
  • Assist with troubleshooting playback systems, display hardware, and associated operational workflows.
  • Maintain detailed operational logs, documentation, and communications.
  • Collaborate across multiple departments to ensure successful execution of events and ongoing venue operations.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
What do you need to succeed?
  • Bachelor's degree in media production, Digital Media, Information Technology, Broadcast Operations, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Experience with digital asset management (DAM), media asset workflows, or large-scale content operations.
  • Experience working with digital signage, IPTV, media servers, broadcast, or live event production environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with media formats, codecs, file delivery standards, and quality control processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects while meeting aggressive deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
Special Requirements
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required. May have split days off.
  • Ability to work at height (upwards of 200'-300'+) on interior and exterior catwalks and on building maintenance unit.
  • Extensive standing, walking, keyboard usage and general administrative duties
  • Occasional travel to NY or Burbank, CA (<5%)

$45,000-$65,000 USD
