Who are we hiring?

The Director will lead the day-to-day revenue management function, ensuring revenue strategies are executed effectively while continuously evaluating business performance and market dynamics. Primary focus on the yield strategy of the Sphere Experience shows and support other departments/products as needed. This position is responsible for forecasting/budgets (working with Finance), all analytical and statistical modeling to maximize revenue, and optimizing venue utilization.

What will you do?
  • Execute the revenue optimization strategy established by the Vice President of Revenue Strategy across Sphere's Experiences portfolio.
  • Lead the day-to-day revenue management process, optimizing inventory, yield, and revenue performance throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Develop demand forecasts, booking pace analyses, revenue projections, and scenario models to support commercial decision-making and budgeting.
  • Monitor booking trends, market conditions, customer behavior, and competitive activity to recommend tactical adjustments to inventory, yield, and sales strategies.
  • Optimize inventory allocation across customer segments, sales channels, and booking windows to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Develop and recommend yield optimization strategies by leveraging demand forecasts, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and pricing analytics to maximize revenue.
  • Assess booking performance and market trends to recommend inventory, yield, and commercial strategy adjustments that maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Partner with Ticketing Operations to execute inventory and pricing strategies accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Business Intelligence, and Data & Analytics to align revenue management strategies with commercial objectives and business priorities.
  • Produce executive reporting, forecasting, dashboards, and post-event analyses to evaluate demand, inventory performance, yield, and revenue results.
  • Identify revenue opportunities through data analysis, forecasting benchmarking, and market intelligence, and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support the development of scalable revenue management processes, forecasting methodologies, KPIs, and best practices to continuously improve commercial performance.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What do you need to succeed?
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant or related work experience required in revenue optimization in Hospitality, Venue, Entertainment or similar industry.
  • Experience in revenue management software for hospitality, sports, or entertainment (IdeaS, Rainmaker, Duetto, QCue, Luxe Pricing) is required
  • Strong experience with Ticketmaster operations and applications (Archtics, Host, TM One).
  • Tableau experience is preferred.
  • Strong marketing, communication and relationship building skills.
  • Knowledge of analysis, and preparation of reports.
  • Strong computer skills (highly skilled in Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay Range

$165,000 — $185,000 USD
