Sphere Entertainment Co. is a leader in immersive experiences, technology and media. The Company includes Sphere, an experiential medium powered by advanced technologies. The first Sphere opened in Las Vegas, with a second venue planned for Abu Dhabi. In addition, the Company includes MSG Networks, which operates two regional sports and entertainment networks, MSG Network and MSG Sportsnet, as well as a direct-to-consumer and authenticated streaming product, MSG+, delivering a wide range of live sports content and other programming. Who are we hiring?
The Account Executive will support the Director and Group Sales Manager(s) on the Group Sales team with a primary focus on prospecting group sales leads and managing inbound group sales inquiries for Sphere. The Account Executive will also perform administrative responsibilities relating to group sales at Sphere.
What will you do?
  • Meet or exceed all revenue and ticket sales goals assigned.
  • Consistently exceed daily and weekly touchpoint goals.
  • Manage inbound lead queue and phone line and respond to all inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Proactively source new leads via outbound sales activities including cold calling to create sales opportunities for the group sales team with a focus on B2B sales
  • Effectively manage and track all sales, inventory adjustments, activity and client and prospect interaction through proper databases and administrative systems in a timely manner.
  • Leverage sales accelerating technology and tools provided to increase overall efficiency and production.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests
  • Execute industry best practice sales and service techniques, as provided by MSG sales leadership.
  • Assist group sales team with external event needs, sales calls, site tours and other duties as assigned.
  • Administrative duties (as assigned): database entry, reporting, notetaking, organizing etc.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
  • All other duties identified by management.

What do you need to succeed?
  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality, sales, business, communications, or related field.
  • 1-2 years' experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality, entertainment, attractions, or sports industries.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales goals.
  • Ability to identify & close B2B sales prospects.
  • Ability to work well in a team selling environment and collaborate with others.
  • Detail-oriented, self-sufficient individual with strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to communicate effectively with prospects, customers, and internal team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and general creativity.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Possess an optimistic team-first attitude, as well as the internal desire to be the best.
  • Ability to use computer, CRM and ticketing technology programs - Experience with Salesforce, ZoomInfo and Ticketmaster (Archtics) is preferred.

Special Requirements
  • Works primarily in an office environment but upon request will be expected to attend shows and other events on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Pay Range
$55,000-$70,000 USD
