My UP News seeks a Technical Media Producer to work with our team around our broadcast and digital news products.

Candidates should be prepared to take a collaborative leadership role in the broadcast production of our newscasts. The expectation is to learn and operate our newscast automation system which handles, cameras, graphics, audio and video.

You would work with another Technical Media Producer on shift with the expectation that when your focus is not on the show, that you are assisting news with the creation of content through editing, writing, or otherwise helping with the production of the shows.

We are looking for someone who can maintain calm and focused attention to detail during breaking news and other changes during a live broadcast.

What You'll Do

· Review all video/audio/graphics/camera shots prior to broadcast, helping to maintain station quality standards

· Keep the newscasts on time by managing content during the shows.

· Assisting News and Production departments with live video and recording as needed

· Help with clipping video from newscasts for web/social/and promotional purposes

What You'll Bring

· Bachelor's degree in television production, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
