Role Purpose

At Rapsodo, we are passionate about innovation and empowering athletes through technology. We are looking for a HR & Accounting Specialist to join our growing team.

This role supports both the North America (NA) HR and Accounting functions, providing exposure across employee operations, payroll coordination, recruitment support, and finance administration. The successful candidate will support day-to-day processes, maintain accurate records, coordinate activities across teams, and contribute to operational effectiveness within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and motivated to contribute while continuing to build professional experience across HR and Accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Administration

  • Support the Rapsodo HR team across day-to-day employee lifecycle activities
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records, ensuring strong data integrity and consistency across HR systems and documentation
  • Assist with HR documentation, filing, HR systems data maintenance, and employee record management
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics for new hires, including documentation, system access, and orientation scheduling
  • Support leave tracking, employee inquiries, and general HR coordination matters
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment logistics, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and candidate records within the ATS and ensure timely updates across recruitment systems

2. Payroll & Data Management

  • Support payroll administration activities to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
  • Maintain payroll-related records and employee data updates with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Coordinate employee changes impacting payroll, including new hires, terminations, compensation updates, and employee data changes
  • Support payroll audits, reporting, reconciliations, and documentation preparation where required
  • Assist in ensuring consistency and integrity of payroll and employee data across systems and records

3. Accounting Support

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment scheduling
  • Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist in preparing reports for management
  • Help track expenses and ensure adherence to company policies

4. General Administration

  • Provide operational coordination and support across both HR and Finance teams
  • Maintain organized documentation and filing systems
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers where required
  • Support ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational effectiveness, process consistency, and accurate record management

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience in any relevant discipline. Candidates from diverse academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply - especially Statistics, History, Geography, Archaeology, Anthropology or Sociology.
  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in Human Resources, Finance, Operations, or related fields. Fresh graduates with internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Motivated, curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Highly adaptable and agile, able to learn quickly, embrace change, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), payroll systems, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), or accounting software would be advantageous.
