PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Coaching sports groups or teams during clinics and campsCheck rosters and player's identification Ensure correct equipment is available for games and proper set up of all play areasEnsure games start on time and are scored accuratelyMonitor play areas including courts and adventure areaAssist in league and class coordination for climbing, ninja, futsal, basketball, volleyball, and general recreationProvide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staffProvide knowledge about prices, leagues, and events Know and enforce the facility's policies, procedures, and rulesOpportunities to provide sports instruction and coach youth (based on experience)Scoreboard OperationOfficiates games and contestsComplete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Have the ability to work with a wide variety of age groupsFlexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays)Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust have excellent guest service skillsMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situationsMust be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow Team MembersMust work well with othersMust take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facilityCommitment to the safety and wellbeing of othersHave sports experience or an interest to learnAble to work electric scoreboard preferred Previous coaching/mentoring experience preferredWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to lift 40 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bendMust be able to walk intermittently Will be required to operate a computer
