About the Program
Are you a high school student with a passion for sports, leadership, and helping others? UFIT (University of Fitness Information and Technology) is offering a hands-on internship where you'll gain real-world experience in school sports coaching while supporting student wellness, teamwork, and active play.
What You'll Do
As a Sports Coaching Intern, you will:
  • Assist lead coaches during PE and after-school sports programs
  • Help facilitate warm-ups, drills, and games for elementary or middle school students
  • Encourage positive play, teamwork, and inclusion during activities
  • Learn and apply basic sports instruction and classroom management techniques
  • Model respect, fairness, and enthusiasm on and off the field

What We're Looking For
  • A passion for sports, fitness, or working with youth
  • Dependable, respectful, and eager to learn
  • Able to take direction and work as part of a team
  • Strong communication and leadership potential
  • Available at least 2 days a week after school (flexible hours)
