Carnival Entertainment is seeking bright, bubbly, people-loving personalities to join the Activity Host teams aboard Carnival. Known as the Fun Squad, our hosts are the soul of the party on every deck. Whether hosting a comedy show, bingo, trivia, or a deck party, the Fun Squad is always on the go and in the spotlight. Interested in having the most fun while creating great experiences for our guests? Ideal candidates are fearless in front of an audience, have strong timekeeping and time management skills, and have a lot of energy. Microphone experience or improv skills are a major bonus for this position.

Sports Staff: Our sports Staff take fun to new heights! Carnival is seeking high-energy, enthusiastic leaders of all sports activities, who have the ability to motivate guests to take full advantage of their vacation and maximize their fun. Our Sports Staff bring high spirits to everything from attractions and sports tournaments to trivia, deck parties, and more. Ideal candidates have strong attention to safety guidelines and the ability to maintain sports equipment. As a candidate you cannot have a fear of heights and a background in outdoor recreation is preferred. If hired, CPR and First Aid certifications will be required.
Requirements include:
  • Understanding of all sports, games, and equipment offered onboard on Sports Deck. Must also have knowledge of all rules associated with such.
  • Assist in organizing as well as referee sports and games such as but not limited to basketball, soccer, volleyball, dodgeball, pickleball, bean bag toss, ping pong, mini golf, pool, and chess.
  • Assist Sports Manager with the organization of group competitions and events.
  • Must be pleasant and helpful while ensuring that all safety procedures are being adhered to.
  • Oversee all equipment on Sports Deck and advise Sports Manager if any replacements or repairs are needed.
  • Assist with the completion of office paperwork.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment.
  • Understanding of all aspects of safety equipment and be continuously mindful of guest and crew safety during all activities conducted in the sports areas.
